Your veiled references to vulgarity is not very becoming, Michael.
I had a note from the mod on that and pointed out that that means Same Stuff Different Day. What does the New Testament say? "[1]“Judge not, that you be not judged. [2] For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get.” (Matthew 7)
You are wrong.
The Amalekites were not punished because they were “heretics.”
In your infallible opinion. 🤷 I note that you attempt to refute only one passage, and of course you are wrong anyway. The Amalkites (and all the others mentioned in those passages) were indeed the OT equivalent…and God ordered them destroyed.
No command here for any Jews to go murder “heretics.”
You are making all this up as you go along in your defense of evil deeds.
In your opinion…
People who worship pagan gods are now “heretics”?
It seems you do not understand what a “heretic” is.
This is another fine example of the very kind of interpretation that it seems Sola Scriptura breeds. Keep twisting it…🤷
Yet again
: no command here for any Jews to go murder “heretics.”

This is bad.

No “heretics” anywhere here either

Nothing. All this is flailing.Yeah yeah yeah…tell me …did God order the Jews to wipe out the people in those passages or not? Don’t twist the passages and play with the meanings…just answer the question? Did God order those people destroyed or not?
You work so hard to find an excuse why your church has the right to murder those who don’t believe like you, Michael, but you have offered nothing so far.
In your infallible opinion…🤷 But everyone else can see the plain fact. Your refutation is nothing more than rhetoric.
Why not simply submit to the Christian dictate to love your neighbor
instead of looking for an excuse to murder them and burn them alive? "Why not simply submit to the Christian dictate to love your neighbor instead of looking for an excuse to try to attack the only church that has held the full gospel for 2,000 years. Why not simply submit to the Christian dictate to repent and renounce the errors and heresies that you now hold so dear?
Sorry, but putting someone out of the local congregation did not mean they were damned. That doctrine “developed” over the centuries.
Which is exactly what I pointed out earlier. but you now want to argue that that is not what I said or what the Catholic Church teaches. Are you confused or something?
No. We don’t seek justification to murder our neighbors for believing a little differently than we do. I am sorry if that disappoints.
Now in the context of history this is the typical a-C distortion of the truth. You are a protestant…defacto in that you hold and profess the same doctrinal errors that they invented some 500 years ago…they were just as murderous as any Catholic and probably more so, yet you have not the integrity to accept responsibility for your spiritual parents sins. At least our own pontiff has apologized for the sins of past Catholics. You might follow his example…
We believe that Christians are called to live at peace with all and to love our Christian neighbors and serve them
…not burn them alive.Yeah right, but your wonderful “way” allows you to obsess about other Christians (and you DO obsess about catholics Atemi, don’t you?) and distort their beliefs and allege things that you know full well are not so.
As a Christian, you should know this.
What I know is a distortion and propaganda when I see it. Yeah… I mean you.
But you can never
believe that it is against God’s will for your church to murder your Christian neighbor in cold blood if they do not believe exactly as you. When you get that protestant murder guilt dealt with then perhaps you can talk…meanwhile, you’re just talking a bunch of self righteous rhetoric.

The fact is that the protestants are just as guilty and they taught the same burn the heretics trash…but modern a-Cs won’t be that honest, will ya?

All I did was show that the Bible does indeed have passages in it (and any atheist will bag you for it!) where it says that God had His people destroy others for different beliefs.

Protestants have persecuted, tortured, and murdered Catholics for 500 years and even today anti-Catholics spout vitriolic rhetoric (generally well spiced with lies and misrepresentations) to incite ignorant people against the Catholic Church. I wouldn’t be surprised if a new conflict broke out…

Yeah… that’s real Christian…
