By their fruits ye shall know them

The Bible says “by their fruits ye shall know them” Many churches produce “good fruit”, so how can you tell which one is being led by God.

I am usually more inclined to use the fruits test on an individual, and not on an institution.

Christ’s last plea and command to his disciples was for unity, and essentially that is the fruit by which we judge all so-called Christian movements. If the lead to unity with the Church founded by Christ they are authentic. If they lead to further disunity and disintegration they are not.
