Byzantine catholic villiage?

Hi everybody. I vaguely remember reading a thread about starting a village of byzantine catholics/orthodox. Does anyone know where that thread is? I can’t seem to find it.

The reason I ask is I’m considering moving to a small catholic village in Wisconsin that seems to be becoming Byzantine. The village is St.Nazianz and it is where Holy Resurrection Monastery is. It seems there are a number of families who have moved there already and more in the planning stage, to be near the monastery.

Wisconsin seems to me to be very Catholic state, and much more reasonable as far as living expenses than here in the New York metro area.

I spent Julian PASCHA there and fell in love with the place.

I’m also considering moving to Brampton ON, to be near St. ELIAS…although I’m not quite sold on this ideas. … .again any (name removed by moderator)ut would be appreciated.
 
If you have the ability to move anywhere, why not move to an area that has Eastern Catholic Churches of various jurisdictions in one area (Ukrainian, Ruthenian, Melkite). I think there are certain areas on the East coast that have this.

Moving to be in ***one ***particular parish or part of a monastery chapel can be disastrous. I’ve heard of people moving for the Traditional Latin Mass to one particular area, and then they have some disagreement with someone in the community or the priest, and then they have NO other options of places to go to church.

My reason fire wanting to move is to have access to a full cycle of the Divine Services of the Church. Nowhere that I am aware of here in North America are they accessible (at least in the Eastern Catholic Church) as they are at Holy Resurrection. I was informed yesterday that at St. ELIAS though the services are done beautifully… …they are done infrequently.
