Are Byzantine Catholics allowed to work on their secular mental labor in Sundays and Holy Days whether it be School work or Job work?

Also are they allowed to use public transportation or restaurant (things that require working in a day of rest) in Sundays or Holy days?

No one seems to have answered you, and I am not Byzantine, but I do know that the Eastern Catholics that I know that are in the health care profession do work on Sundays if their job requires them to do so, and I would think it would be the same for any profession where public interest is served, such as the fire department, police work, etc. or where one is required to work in order to keep their jobs and feed their families.

In most of the Byzantine Churches Sui Iuris, the sunday obligation can be fulilled by Vespers on Saturday, Orthos on Sunday, or DL on Sunday, with a preference for All 3. When civil work precludes attending any of the three, permission of the pastor to substitute private vespers and matins is often forthcoming.
