I am a Latin Rite Catholic, but I do love Byzantine chant. Does anyone have any suggestions on good CDs or websites with downloads for listening during this time as I enter into the Triduum? much thanks.

There is a ladies trio–sisters who happen to be the wives of Orthodox priests–called ICON who have done a recording of the Matins of Pascha (Easter)–in English. I would guess they have done Lent and Holy Week records as well.

There is a Benedictine monastic community in Belgium, Monastere de Chevetogne, who embrace both the Latin and Byzantine traditions. These monks have produced some magnificent CDs, many of which are specific to Holy Week. By far, the BEST CD for Paska is the one by the monks of St. Sergius Lavra in Russia with Matins of the Resurrection. It was recorded live. You can count the 12 bell peals from the tower.
