I want to share Byzantine prayers with my friends and realized that the services, such as the office, are more complicated and longer than the Latin office I used to sing. Does anyone, especially Melkites here, have any advice on daily prayer for families or small groups?

It is a tradition in Greek homes to pray Compline as a family. It is relatively short (compared to most Byzantine prayers) and easy to learn. The Orthodox Study bible has an excellent selection of prayers in the back. Sophia press publishes a small booklet of abbreviated hours for personal use, but I can’t remember what it is called.
