Lots of people have wound up Anglicans because of Lewis. I’m one of them, as is the bishop of the diocese in which I now reside (Ed Little). But it’s true that many of us, particularly when coming from a low-church evangelical background, feel the “tug” to go further. Lewis himself either did not feel this tug or successfully resisted it (as I have done so far as well).
