Hi, I would like to know your guys’ opinions on the book Mere Christianity. I understand that Lewis was not Catholic so would this be a good book for a Catholic who is struggling to believe in God? or should I opt for a Catholic Aplogetics book instead

Honestly if you’re Catholic or considering converting, keep MC on the shelf and read Frank Sheed’s “Map of Life”, and maybe follow it up with his book “Theology for Beginners”. Then read Mere Christianity. Map of Life is hands down my favorite short Catholic apologetics book, and it’s well-written and easy to read.
