There’s a documentary available on Amazon prime, it’s free, and it’s produced/written/directed by veterans about their combat experience in Afghanistan. Go check it out. It’s called Once A Marine. Here’s the trailer. Help these guys out by leaving positive reviews, it’ll help get more exposure.

I think I remember @DaveBj mentioning being a vet? I’m sure I’ll think of more.

Speaking of documentaries, did you see Restrepo?

Yes. The follow up Korengal is also good. Highly recommend the books War and Tribe by Sebastian Junger, He was the guy who made Restrepo, that movie was made by Junger while he was on the assignment that turned into writing War.
