In the church bulletin, it was stated:
Through the Trinity, we are called to become one as well. We are called to work together, united in the cause of promoting God’s love throughout the world. May the power of the Trinity challenge us in this work.

These are profound words. Each person makes his/her contribution. It does not matter whether the individual contribution is large or small. The individual is still contributing to promote the love of God.

What do you think?

In his homily at mass yesterday, out parish priest focused on the same message. It seems to be standard practice nowadays to use the Holy Trinity as an analogy for unselfishness in everyday life, whether in the family or at work or in any other context. One of the leading figures in liberation theology, Leonardo Boff, wrote a whole book on this subject (which I haven’t read, though).
