Calling All Nuns

There aren’t any nuns in our parish, and we want our girls to know that nuns REALLY DO exist. I’ve noticed that who they are exposed to they want to be like so we are always looking for nuns. We go out of our way at gas stations, stores, etc. to meet a nun. You should see us zipping around the store or making a U-turn to go to a parking lot. We really appreciate the habits now more than ever because they make the nuns identifiable.

Any other ideas? I don’t want to be accused of being a nun stalker.

Hello. I am considering the sisterhood for my future. Perhaps you could check to see if there are any convents in your area that you could visit.

Here are 2 great sites that consist of orthodox orders. Many of them out there are heterodox or reject some Church teachings, but from what I know, these ones are good.

God bless you for encouraging religious vocations! In the world today, most secular or Protestant voices would discourage such a thing, so Catholics must encourage them all the more.
