IMDB describes “Calvary” in this way:
After he is threatened during a confession, a good-natured priest must battle the dark forces closing in around him.
This movie - to get to the point - is excellently Christian. That is not to say, however, that it is for every viewer (I can expand on this particular comment if viewers prefer). It does, however, remain excellently Christian.
Has anyone seen it? I have found one priest reacting to it so for: Here.
Hopefully Fr. Robert Barron will get wind of the movie soon.
Can I share anything more specific about this film (without, of course, revealing too much of its plot)? I will follow the lead of anyone interested in commenting.
