The Men of St. Joseph (www.menofstjoseph.com) is contemplating the development of a campaign to help enbolden, enliven and activate a greater sense of Catholic community and culture.

*Those targeted would NOT be those that have truly fallen-away but those who are currently minimlist, punch-list, Sunday-only Catholics. *

The objective is to get them to be more active, visable, and vocal in promoting their faith. We also want them to have a greater sense of belonging and community in relation to their Catholic Faith.

Does anyone know of a parish, diocese, apostolate, or organization that has a successful campaign similar to this?

Looking for good ideas with a record of success.

THANKS!!!

Guys-I sure hope you can find something you can use or get something developed. I can’t understand why there is no ongoing Catholic Religious ED in parishes for adults. The secular culture has taken over almost completely. We need to support Catholics and bring them back into the counter-culture of mindsets and values which Jesus died for. Catholics don’t know who they are-they have no Catholic identity. It has ben lost in the mainstream of pop secularity. I am one of the Directors of a small non-profit. We are looking for a Religious Ed program which would teach morals, ethics, values, counter-culturalism, etc, and make it palatable and meaningful for adults.

I didn’t like the radix site. It sounds more like a militant directive than anything else, and had a very poor home page, too. On the EWTN program Life On the Rocks they had an interesting men’s group which took fathers and sons on wilderness trips to build comaraderie, strength, courage, and manhood. Their emphasis was on uplifting and supporting men and mens’ roles and challenges. Their motto was one I loved: “Get Holy or Die Trying”.👍

But Radix is the men’s group you are talking about. The founder is Doug Barry who co-hosts Life on the Rock with Fr. Mark. I don’t know much about the website or the group. Was just impressed by Doug Barry and his visions.
