Can a Catholic attend a non-Catholic wedding ceremony?

Is there anything in Canon Law or in the Catechism regarding Church teaching on this topic? I am invited to the weddings of two very dear friends–one is Catholic marrying a Muslim, the other is non-practicing Catholic wedding in a non-denominational rite.
