Can a Catholic be a juror in a capital murder case?

The state I live in recently reinstated the death penalty. As a Catholic, am I permitted to be a juror in a capital murder trial?

Yes, of course. In voir dire, the process by which potential jurors are selected, you may be asked about your views on capital punishment. Just answer the questions honestly. If the prosecutor or defense attorney believes that you should not be on a particular jury, they’ll ask for you to be excused.
