So I’m really into American history, and one of my favourite parts of American history is studying the shaker community. Now I was wondering because they believed Mother Ann Lee was the Female Incarnation of Christ, would it be blasphemous for a catholic to believe such a claim?

Yes it would.

Edit: Fauken beat me to it

Shaker theology contradicts not only Catholic theology, but basically all of “Mere Christianity” theology, so no, they may not.

You could still have a steady stream of zealous believers joining. It’s just that nobody’s gonna sign up for that way of life or strange theology.

They used to have people who joined. I think it’s been a long time.
