My boyfriend and I would like to take our relationship to the next level. He belong to the Assyrian Church of the East, and was married through his church a few years ago and divorced shortly after. Can we get married through the catholic church? He does not practice his religion and agrees to raising out children catholic.

All marriages are presumed valid until proven otherwise. His marriage is still considered valid until it is proven invalid to a Church tribunal (i.e. annulment). So he would need to go through the annulment process in order to be married in a Catholic Church.
