Can a devoted Catholic practice other faiths?

My boyfriend and I are devoted Catholics. I try to stick to the traditional beliefs of the Catholic faith. My boyfriend, on the other hand, likes to open his mind and experience other “techniques”, such as learning about chakras, auroras, etc. His most recent topic is Astral Projection.

I think unintentionally, he is going away from the Catholic belief. I know he still believes in the Catholic faith but he doesn’t know he is practicing against the Catholic faith. Is this against our religion? Should I do anything?
