Can a person contracept and still be an EMHC?

Can a person contracept and/or permanently sterilize him- or herself and still continue to be an extraordinary minister of the Eucharist? This person has full knowledge that contraception and sterilization goes against the teachings of the Church and that they are sins.
 
It is very likely then that such a person as you describe would be in a state of mortal sin and should not present him- or herself to receive the Eucharist, much less to distribute it to others. Those participating in a public role during the Mass should be leading lives in keeping with the sacred duty they have received.
