Can a rosary offered by a Mormon be efficacious?

I am an LDS member currently investigating the Catholic Church. For the past several months I have been using Orthodox prayer beads and an Anglican rosary in my private devotions. Lately I have felt particularly drawn to pray the rosary as taught by the Catholic Church. I do not wish to offend, but if I did choose to do so, would my prayers be efficacious?
