Can a seminarian be on legal medical drugs?

If a person is called and knows it but is on some type of legal medications, can he still become a priest?
 
Hi,

That would depend on the diocese or religious institute that he would want to join and on the illness for which the medication is needed. Most would accept a person who uses insulin for diabetes. But none would accept a person on medication for a serious mental condition.
