Can anyone make a decision without God's allowing?

Hello - in this day and age it may appear God is absent, hidden and/or behind the scenes. It is as though He has handed it all over to humanity and humanity seems to celebrate his/her independence and self-thinking in pretty much every stream of life - especially in news, entertainment, education and business. Maybe similar to how the prodigal son, with pockets filled with money (or in a macro economic sense - trade and technology and large companies) ran off to live a life of freedom and licentiousness.

Yet, I believe not so much as one decision can be made without God’s allowing it - just as Satan had to come before God before God allowed what Satan did to Job - or using Jesus’ life, He told Pilot that only because God allows him, could he preside over Jesus.

That said, though I believe this, in the day to day events in life, it sure does seem humanity makes all the decisions independently - and it requires of me a lot of centering to remember that whatever someone does requires an “allowance” by God.

No real question here - just wanted to open this up to the audience to see if anyone struggles with this same line of thinking? Any thoughts, insights?

We can’t breathe without God’s allowing. QED.
Funny, I believe that as well - but the ironic thing is that this is, for me, this belief is a very, very hard thing to rely upon as I go about normal, everyday tasks. It is like a rock in the water that is scary to step upon. And the world doesn’t seem to help encourage this belief.

As a result, mentally, I can swiftly become anxious before the power and authority of circumstance, of the phantoms of the future, because I fundamentally don’t seem to get this belief at my deepest levels.

For example, kids and water: I get very anxious thinking of my younger kids playing around deep water without my supervision. In that anxiousness, somewhere deep I don’t really believe God would intervene - or that if He allowed one of them to drown, that He would enable our family to recover from that horrific situation.

Another example: my Kids walking to school by themselves - something horrific could happen and God wouldn’t be right there to help and/or guide our family through to the outcome.

A third example: work - in the event I am laid off, I could lose everything we have: our house/mortgage, our debts would put us under. There is an anxiousness that God is not really there as a “do/don’t do” God that will really protect and/or if the worst would happen, He wouldn’t be there to help us get out of that terrible trial.

And since we are talking about phantom scenarios there are a thousand other ones that could be dreamt up, all of which can cause anxiousness.

Somewhere deep down, I don’t really believe God actually moderates every action in the universe.

I guess what I am saying is: I can say I believe God authorizes everything, but I don’t have the lack of anxiousness to prove that I really, deep-down, believe it when put to the “phantom scenario test”.

Note: when I was single and in my early twenties, I thought I had this mastered, because there was only me to be concerned about. But now that I’m a parent, I realize how I don’t have this believe mastered and am anxious for my family’s well being - not really trusting in God in all things.

Does anyone else struggle with this? Has anyone with parental responsibilities out there felt like they have mastered this belief to the point that very little disturbs their waters? If so, any tips or insights?

Actually, come to think of it - let’s close this thread. No need to respond. I think I can come up with a better Original Post that gets closer to the heart of the matter.
