Can Catholics participate in a non-Catholic wedding?

My son is getting married in a civil ceremony.
He and his fiancée are Catholics not practicing their faith.
My wife and I have decided to attend the wedding.
Is it permissible to allow our 16 year old son to be in the wedding party?
