Can Catholics practice Yoga?

What is “namaste”? Can Catholics practice Yago? Is it calling out to the devil? What is it all about? In our local paper we have a section called “The God Squad” a priest and a rabbi answer questions. They see no harm in practicing yoga. I thought that it could lead you down a very danger path. What is up with it? God Bless, Rich
