Can Catholics receive Communion at a Protestant church?

A Catholic friend ask me, “If I go with my Protestant relative to his church, can I receive communion?” My answer was no, because it is not Jesus and it gives the wrong message about Our Faith! I told him I would ask Catholic Answers for him.
