Can Catholics work in a Christian bookstore?

My 18-year-old daughter (just out of high school and still living at home) wants to apply for a job in a Christian bookstore. The store’s products are 90-percent Protestant with a few distinctively Catholic items offered. Our family is Catholic and I have reservations about her working there. I’m not afraid that she might be influenced to “jump ship” and leave the faith, but I am concerned that she may be, in effect, helping to further Protestantism if she takes a job there, and I’d rather she not even apply. What are your thoughts?
 
So long as you are confident that your daughter is knowledgable enough about her Catholic faith and strong enough in her Catholic faith to withstand any proselytization she might experience from colleagues and/or customers, there is no reason why she cannot work in a Christian bookstore. Look at it this way: The products she will be selling are Christian and she will be working in a Christian environment. If she were to work in a secular bookstore, she might be required to sell far more problematic material (e.g., pornography, books on the occult, books advocating immoral behaviors) than she would at a Christian bookstore.
