Can bishops of eastern rites attend ecumenical councils? To be honest, I don’t know much about Eastern Catholicism so any response is helpful! 🙂

Not only can, but are expected to.

The term ‘ecumenical’ means ‘across all the Earth’, that it is a Council across all the sui juris Churches.
