I stumbled upon this question:
**If God is perfect and all knowing, why then does he sometimes regret his actions? **
The question cited verses* Gen 6 5-8* and* 1 Samuel 15:10-11.*
I was thinking that “regret” is merely our personifications of God?
God is being itself, “ipsum esse”. So, would God perhaps be regretting that in those instances, the actions of sin that were happening are contrary to our humanity, our very being?
However, I’m really not sure how to think about this. Can you help?
