Can I attend my sister's civil wedding?

My sister is getting married next month in a civil ceremony only. I feel that it wrong for me to go because it is both invalid and illicit. Am I wrong? I love my sister and I keep wrestling with this…she is Catholic and should know better. I don’t want to cause scandal by going…and I don’t want to lie by trying to express joy for her doing something that is very wrong.
