Can I Attend Saturday Night Mass, Instead Of Sunday Obligation?

At my parish, the Saturday night Mass used to be nearly as full as the main Mass on Sunday. Early morning would have been a better decision if one wanted to avoid other people.
Or even better, find a Latin Mass in your area which is bound to be less crowded 👍
That would depend on where you are. Sometimes the TLM has more people. But at least you don’t have people slapping you on the shoulder trying to shake your hand there!

At this time in my life, I would love to have people slapping me on the shoulder (gently) and trying to shake my hand. Maybe it’s because I’m getting older and several of my friends have died in the last few months, but lately, I’m really lonely for Christian friendships that are more than just acquaintances.

I apologize for my gloom today. Usually I’m a lot more chipper.

This topic comes up so often it really should be a sticky somewhere.
I was just about to post the same. It’s strange it’s not more generally known, as the possibility of attending Saturday evening has been available for so many years now.
