Can I be in the wedding?

I am a devout, practicing Catholic. I was recently asked to be in a wedding for a friend of mine. Upon further investigation, it has been revealed that his fiancé is an atheist. This really, really troubled me since I am close to my friend. I tried to talk to her about God and I didn’t get through to her at all, but I know that ultimately God must call His sheep back. So, my question is this, can I be a groomsman in my friend’s wedding if the bride is an atheist and I am a practicing Catholic? Any help, advice, direction on this matter would be greatly appreciated!
