Can I be kicked out of RCIA?

I am about 3 months away from first confession and every minute until then my sins will continue to weigh me down…
If you haven’t spoken of this to your priest yet, you should. He might be able to work out a good time for you or perhaps let you confess earlier if he sees fit.

I converted recently myself (3 years ago about, though made up my mind earlier than that). I would advise finding a nearby priest you look up to and try and make him your only confessor. He can get to know you well, and if you ever recall old sins or suffer unfortunate scruples on re-confessing, etc it will be the same person. It is worth it I think, though its only a luxury of course. I would also advise reading up on Church teachings regarding confession.
As I turn more towards the light of Christ there is a great struggle within myself and I feel the evil trying to take hold. Please pray to our Blessed Mother for me, because I am very weak.
Take comfort that you have notice of that struggle. A violent beast normally is at its apex of brutality when it is forced into a corner and is about to be seriously wounded by its pursuers. Though Christ won our victory for us, He often seems to grace us with the opportunity for some self-sacrificial heroism and displays of love ourselves. I have little doubt that the self-emptying in confession is one of these instances. Of course this is a time of sorrow, not self-satisfaction, but it can be a somewhat heroic battle getting ourselves before the mercy of our Lord (the enemy does not want you there).

Believe me, God will give you the grace to confess your sins and to face down self-justification, fear, and the devil. The time is coming for you to wield that sword, given out of so much love for you, and to be done with these sins forever and turn to God in sorrow for your failures. I know it is painful, though it is easier than you may expect, but often only in retrospect. These fears you have, though probably very illegitimate (I’ve never even heard whispers of a priest breaking a confessional seal or turning someone away from RCIA because of what was confessed), are perhaps common, but let your love of God (Goodness Himself) overcome the fear, and pray for that grace when your will falters. You seem like someone who, at least sometimes, has been graced with the ability to say to our Lord “for You my King, to whatever fearful end”, and if not, at least pray and will for such a heart.

I shall certainly say a prayer or two for you. If your experience was anything like mine, after a good confession you will feel such freedom that you may think you have sprouted wings.

My RCIA class has taken precedence in my life because of the hunger I have to be fully with Christ, but I am terrified of my first confession. I know that to receive the Eucharist and be in a state of grace I cannot hold back my sins, but is it possible for the Father to refuse my entry into the Church because he is horrified by what I confess? Some of the things I have to confess are far worse than the mortal sins of most. They weigh heavy on my soul, which is filled with deep regret and sadness at the things I’ve done.
No.

People have entered the Church at the foot of the gallows, literally. Certainly whatever you have done would not be more serious than a capital crime. ICXC NIKA

The fact that you are obviously conscious of and horrified at the enormity of the sins you have committed, and realise that you are unworthy (as we are all unworthy) to be united to Christ in His Church, is a very good thing - a sign that you are truly contrite and repentant. The priest will be delighted to see this, both on his own behalf and on behalf of God Who will forgive all your sins. “Though your sins be scarlet, you shall be washed as white as snow.”

converting2024 I don’t know about you but my mind tends to magnify things way out into space. When I came back to the Church the first thing I did was go to confession, I was ready for some big penance I even brought my rosary just in case. And no nothing big just the same pennace as before. However like always after confessing my sins this huge burden I carried with me is lifted. It’s such a wonderfull feeling. Go to confession and clear your wreckage and you to well feel good after.
May the Holy Spirit guide you.

I guess. Though I oppose state executions myself. But since the priest couldn’t/wouldn’t report a crime to civil authorities and we’re not certain what the priest would counsel, I guess we’re left with evidence going undisclosed or covered up so to speak and the debt to society possibly not being paid.
The priest is not an agent of the government; it is not his role to ensure that civil justice is done. That is the role of the police. If the person chooses to confess his crime to the police, he will certainly do whatever time is warranted for it.

But confession to a priest incurs no such penalties, but rather, the absolution of sins, and the winning of a soul for Christ.

If someone were to think that he would be required to turn himself in and go to jail as part of his penance when going to Confession, who would confess their sins? No one. So, priests don’t do this.

Just a real quick note on what you have revealed to us first check out Blessed Bartolol Longo he was a very high ranking Satanist now he is Blessed which is almost Sainted. And second God can heal all wounds caused by sin He does not want us to live in a cloak of shame and guilt but live in the glory of Him.
