I, a Catholic, married my Baptist wife in a non denominational chapel by a Baptist minister. Can I be restored to my Catholic faith and take Communion?
You are still a Catholic, you are just a Catholic in what’s called an irregular marriage. You would need to have your marriage validated in the Church in order to receive communion. This is a fairly straightforward process and at the end you would exchange vows in front of a priest or deacon.
