Can I become a nun despite a past mistake?

Early in college, in a moment of stupidity and distance from God, I lost my virginity. I have regretted it ever since then and sought God’s forgiveness. Although I do not feel a calling toward becoming a nun at this time, does the mistake I made mean that I can not become a nun in the future if I wanted to, since I am no longer pure?
 
Hi,

If you have repented, received absolution and are free of mortal sin, you are pure. Certainly, such would not keep you from a religious vocation should God call you.
