Can I block a member on here?

If I’m having difficulty with an individual in these forums is there a way I can block them? There is an individual who I have asked multiple times to stop communicating with me who simply will not respect my request. I would like to block them. Can it be done?
 
Yes, go into your account, look under notifications, then users and you can ignore them.

If they are refusing to stop then you should tell the mods. That’s beyond what should be acceptable here
 
Yes. Click on the users icon
Click on it again to expand
In the upper right it will say message and normal
Click on normal and you will have the choice to mute the user
Tada! Your done!
 
If they start PMing you, you can report it to a moderator too.

You both need to just ignore each other and not respond to each other.
 
Actively trying. And yes, I did PM the individual politely asking that they not contact me. It didn’t work. Thank you for your help. I’m not understanding / seeing what you are talking about… the user’s icon?
 
Well, shoot. What if the user is hidden? Am I out of luck? Don’t mean to drag others into this, but I’ve only been on here for a few days… don’t know the ins and outs yet. Thank you for your help!

Hmmm, yes, I see the problem! I don’t have an answer for that situation but if anyone else knows a way to do this, I’d like to know as well!

I am not hidden. If you are referring to me, I dont know what you mean by hidden. I have contacted the moderator as suggested by Irishmom.

Oh wait, I was hidden profile for some reason, I have unclicked that. Feel free to put me on ignore and I will do the same to you and await the moderator.

It is not a mess, please stop insulting and hurling insults at me.
