Can I chose an Eastern Orthodox Godparent?

I am the Godmother to a child whose parents are Ukrainian Orthodox. They know I would raise their child Catholic, should they pass away.

Would I be permitted to chose one of them as a Godparent for my child one day? One of them is baptised as a Catholic but now attends Orthodox masses and has essentially converted.

I know they would understand if I was not allowed to have them be the Godparents, but what if they agree to raise the child Catholic?
