Can I donate to Amnesty International?

I recently found out that Amnesty International is promoting abortion. It made me realize that an awful lot of medical and human rights charities could be involved in this work. Does this mean giving to them would be immoral?

Not necessarily, especially if you are given the opportunity to earmark your donation to morally legitimate projects with which the organization is involved. But if there are other charities that do the same work and do not promote a moral evil, then it would be better to donate to those alternative charities instead.
