Can I read Busenbaum, Gury, and Prummer if I can't understand Liguori?

I want to know if I can read those sources if I can’t understand Liguori. There are too many citations in Liguori that make it harder to understand what is sinful and not. There’s stuff that comes from Liguori in these sources and I feel like these sources can make everything more clearer. I know that Liguori used Busenbaum. A nihil obstat was placed in the Handbook of Moral Theology by Prummer.

Anyone know a Redemptorist priest who has read the Theologia Moralis? Catholic Living
You have posted about both this book and grammar before. This seems to be some kind of scruple or obsession for you. You need to stop asking these questions online and to seek counseling. Others would be well advised not to reply, as this will only further our friend’s problems. You are in my prayers. -Fr ACEGC
