Can I receive a special dispensation to attend an Episcopal church?

I read in Scott Hahn’s book Rome Sweet Rome that he was able to attend his protestant church with his family for awhile, while waiting for kimberly to join him in the Catholic Church.

Is there a special dispensation that i can get so that i can attend church with my husband and children. I realize that this is not the best situation and that it may be confusing to the kids, But i now attend Both the Episcopal church and The Catholic Church on my own. My husband does NOT want to convert and he does not want our children to convert. I teach my children the Catholic Catechism at home for our homeschool and know they see how important it is to me. I can’t change my husband, but can pray for the Holy spirit to guide me and my family. After all, kimberly was a devout protestant and wonderful changes went through her family.
It is of the upmost importance that i atttend church with my family. My children need to see and feel a togetherness within the family rather than a disunity. My refusing to attend the Episcopal church would only be cause for our families church life to disintegrate altogether and i do not want that.

what blessing or dispensation was Scott Hahn referring to?
