Can I receive the blessing of the throat?

I’m going to be confirmed in a few weeks. I’ve spent the past few months in RCIA and I’ve learned a lot. I went to mass today and they were doing the blessing of the throats. I was told they will do it again tomorrow.

I wanted to know, could get in line and be blessed like everyone else?
