I’m married to a JW, is it ok to say grace with them leading? Do we take turns? Just looking for some answers and trying to get my family closer by saying grace before our meals together as a family.
We are not forbidden to pray with non-Catholics, unless the prayer is something like “Please make everyone on earth a JW”, something simple like “we thank you for this meal and the hands that have prepared it” would be okay.
Did you talk about this in your pre-marital sessions with the priest?
Our marriage was not validated in the Church, I hope in the near future we can get that done. No she did not say that but she thanks Jehovah and such, ok so I’m glad we can do that and then I can do a sign of the cross afterwards to myself.
