Can I use a Photocopy of Baptism Certificate for RCIA?

I was baptized in a baptist church approx 35 yrs ago. They did not issue certificates and I was not able to contact the church to see if they still had records. My batismal was accepted on my word and confirmation from my mom.
Contact your RCIA leader and see if there is any other way they will accept proof.
