Can Jesus be included in a portrait of my son?

My husband would like to have a painting made of our two-year-old son with Jesus holding him. Our son is alive and I feel it’s not a correct thing to do for the living. Also, could we be offending our Lord in the process? Please advise.
 
Why would you think such a portrait “offensive”? It sounds to me to be a lovely idea.
