I wouldn’t focus specifically on the presence of the word “Demonic” in the title (although that isn’t a great start) but on the spirit appealed to in the song. Yes, I believe music can “possess” us, or rather a certain spirit or passion can possess us through music. For many years, I was a “headbanger”. I know now that when listening to metal I was frequently possessed by a spirit of mindless anger. That may not happen to everyone who listens to metal, but it happened to me. It was very destructive to me; I am just now slowly getting over the bad spiritual effects of it. I would strongly recommend staying away from metal, punk and any other type of music (also tv and movies) that stimulate rage and anger.I am a fan of the band seether, but I was looking at some songs of theirs on youtube and one person uploaded a version that they modified called “demonic version”, I clicked it because curosity got the best of me, and when it started playing I felt guilty. Please help me have a peace of mind. Sorry if this doesn’t fit here.
if it wasn’t what you expected, due to the modification, then ignore it and move on. There is a lot of internet content that should rightly offend us.
