No. Catholics may not receive Protestant communion. Period. You might also point out to your husband that it is disrespectful of your children’s consciences to “demand” that they receive communion in his church, and would be inappropriate even if you were both Protestant and were not involved in a mixed marriage. Parents can legitimately require many things of their children, and are responsible for their religious education; but they cannot “demand” that their children receive sacraments (or “ordinances”) when the children are unwilling to do so or are legitimately inhibited from doing so for some just reason (such as in your case, where your children will be receiving Catholic Communion).
