My husband and I are getting older and facing our mortality. He attends church with me nearly every Sunday (for the last ten years) . Our graves have been purchased from my Catholic churches’ cemetery. Is there any kind of service that can be done in my church. Do I need to contact the bishop? He appreciates some of our teachings but does not plan to convert . He does not like to read so I doubt apologetics will affect him.
Thanks for your help.

Yes, the bishop can grant permission for a Catholic funeral for a non-Catholic spouse of a Catholic (Order of Christian Funerals #18) . Simply speak to your parish priest at the appropriate time.
