Can non-Catholics go to heaven without Confession?

The Roman Catholic Church teaches that the Sacrament of Reconciliation is the only way for mortal sin to be forgiven. Yet, Protestants do not have that Sacrament, and other Catholics (Eastern Orthodox and Old Catholics) do have the Sacrament, but don’t accept two types of sin (mortal and venal), and/or don’t believe that the Sacrament is necessary for forgiveness, but useful for spiritual growth and humility.

So my question is: if the Roman Catholic Church is correct, are other Catholics and Protestants doomed to hell because their traditions don’t believe what Roman Catholics believe about Confession? And if not, does that mean that God has different standards for different people?
