Can you become a nun if you are widowed? Are there any requirements?
 
A widow can become a sister assuming there are no other impediments (e.g., previous irregular marriage). The requirements for religious life vary for different religious communities. I recommend you contact the Office of Vocations in your diocese. God bless you!
