I don’t think I like those scapulars. I think the picture is paper, and if you get it wet, it kind of melts, and it sometimes scratches you. It is better to get ones that have the pictures made of cloth, and sewn on. Some scapulars have no picture, others have just a yellow cross sewn on, and then most of the others have a picture of Our Lady handing the scapular to St. Simon Stock and her promise on the other end. It doesn’t matter, I have had all different types, but I just don’t like the paper ones.:nope:
Well I suppose that anything is possible, but I’ve worn scapulars for over 50 years and I haven’t been strangled yet. And I never take them off. I wear one until it dissolves, shreds or comes apart then I replace it.
