Can someone, anyone pray for me?

So I’m 16, and I feel just so down the past few days. About a few months back I started coming increasingly closer to God through starting to pray the rosary daily, reading the bible daily, going to weekly confession, and sunday masses. I started this because I wanted something to happen in my life and I knew the only thing I needed to do was love God, practice his teachings in daily life, and be patient and he will have something for me down the road. And that was the case until recently. I’m just feeling down and empty, still loving God and doing all holy things, but just empty and wondering, when will God come to me?

I dont know if it will help but I’m just in need of any spiritual uplift, but I ask for anyone reading this to keep me in their prayers later on in the day or in the future. Thank You for all prayers! God bless!

It’s not uncommon to have dry spells. Paul described his own experience in Romans 7. He says that he did the things that he didn’t want to do. He talks about sin dwelling in his members and that his members don’t obey the law of his mind. I encourage you to read Romans 7 and then ask the Lord to enlighten you. Obviously the word of God is more valuable than any advice I can give.

I pray that God relieves you of the feeling of emptiness. Amen.

First, I salute you on being more devout than many of your peers—or most anyone else for that matter. I pray that our Heavenly Father provides you a boost of encouragement, guidance, persistence, and many other blessings. Your persistence in praying when you’re even feeling blah is highly valued by Him.
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.
